Situation & Task
In the midst of the global pandemic, traditional means of advertising production suddenly found themselves coming to a halt. Meanwhile, e-commerce market had become more bustling than ever, requiring constantly refreshing advertisements to keep brands in the competition. Prima Gold Vietnam was no exception, and it was our mission to help the jewelry house thrive beyond such unusual time.
The client aimed to increase their sales on e-commerce platforms through social media advertising, with up-to-date content including new products, flash sales and COVID-19 related stories. There was also a shift in target audience towards the younger segments, as they are more active online shoppers.
Action
Being a Graphic Designer of the digital marketing agency Vietnam Digital, I have had the chance to participate in this client project for Prima Gold Vietnam. As offline production was impossible, we made use of online stock resources (backgrounds, models, podiums) and the existing product gallery from the brand to composite images using digital software like Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. The outcomes strike a balance between bright and luxurious regarding the overall tone, and immersive and product-centered regarding the composition.
Result
Our team has succeeded in increasing online sales and social engagement for Prima Gold Vietnam. This client project, with luxurious products and high visual requirements, has also helped me improve my eye for details, as well as the ability to create and adjust images following client briefs and feedbacks.
